My little lovely in a field of grass.

She loves playing with Grandma's glasses. By the way, thanks Aunt Kat for the coverup.

Mommy & Lucero at Balmorhea pool. This bikini top makes me look terribly flat chested, which I guess I pretty much am, especially thanks to Lucero draining those puppies, but I couldn't stand the idea of tan lines.

She loved the water.

Seriously, if you are ever driving through West Texas in the hot summer months, make a stop at Balmorhea pool. The water is so fresh!

She likes to get into everything...one leg so far...

And now the other.
She's full of expressions.
Tearing up Kleenex
Crying 'cause mommy got on her case.
Slightly better now.

I forgot what was so funny, but isn't she cute?

Who could resist this face?
One of her favorite things to do: look through books.
Ok, nothing Lucero-related here, but I wanted to take a picture of my hard work. I made all those little food flags for my sister-in-law's bridal shower. Side note: don't you just wanna eat a sausage ball?

A close up. We had to find some way to make the oatmeal cake special, 'cause you can't decorate it with regular icing. Yum, the oatmeal cake looks good too.

My new sister-in-law!
Me and the girl.
Testing out the bumpit. Kinda hard to see in this picture.

Lucero playing in great Grandpa's yard.
Wrangler butts drive me nuts. Or more like dirty butts drive me nuts.
In time out. Isn't she dramatic? Yes, we do time outs. She sits there for about a minute. Sometimes we also do pow-pow. It just depends on the crime.

Ready to eat, but no food in sight.

And there you have it. Hope you enjoyed.
Ha, I just had a thought. Remember, three years ago when yall were tired of me just posting pictures of myself? Now it's all about the girl. Funny how that changes.

YAY for pictures! She is SO cute!
Yes, the Balmorhea pool is nice, but you have *really* lure me to get INTO that water. Glad to see Lucero enjoyed the water...Laney LOVES to swim, too.
So good to finally see who joined the family...I've heard of her for what seems like forever, but I've never had the chance to meet her. Great job with the bridal shower food!
And whoa, time-outs already?! Do they work? Laney bit me today because I picked her up, away from what she wanted to do (first time she'd done that)...and I SOOO wanted to put her in a time-out or give her a spanking, but alas, we were in public with no where to put her.
Now we need some Lucero-Uncle John/Aunt Kat wedding pics. ;-) I bet she looked *darling*!
HEy! Lucero is so dang cute. M does time outs too, only she goes to "the mat" a blanket folded on the floor. This works out well for tantrums and naughtiness. They do this at her daycare too, so it's pretty universal in the world of M.
BTW, I have the SAME camo bag that is hanging on the chair in the last pict. My Mom gave it to me. hehehee...I guess we all have good taste.
ANd lastly, do you like the bumpit? Does it work?
She is adorable! I can't believe how big she is already.
She is adorable... and pretty advanced it seems? Lucero and my son share the same birthday, but she is pretty far ahead of him development-wise!
